The new SLC 43 represents the entry point into the current roadster world of AMG. Apart from the renaming of the SLK to SLC, the open-top two-seater also comes with a new AMG nomenclature. The familiar two-digit combination typical of AMG underscores the SLC's unmistakable membership of the AMG family. Due to its overall "engineered in Affalterbach" package of typical AMG driving dynamics, engine response and high efficiency, the SLC 43 is very competitively positioned in the segment. The 43 stands for the further-developed AMG 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine. The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 is therefore the first V6 model from Affalterbach to feature the new nomenclature. This will be successively introduced to the future model portfolio.
Affalterbach. There need be no contradiction between high driving dynamics and low fuel consumption. This is proved by the new Mercedes-AMG SLC 43: thanks to the combination of 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine and 9G-TRONIC sports transmission, the 270 kW (367 hp) roadster consumes just 7.8 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres (NEDC, combined). Consequently, the open-top two-seater not only uses 0.6 l/100 km less than its predecessor, the SLK 55 with V8 naturally aspirated engine, but is also the most efficient six-cylinder performance roadster on the market. The specially developed suspension and model-specific mountings for engine and rear-axle gear unit are designed for high lateral acceleration and low roll. Even greater driving dynamics is optionally available with the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive adjustable damping and the Handling package with mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle.

MESSAGGIO URBI ET ORBI DEL SANTO PADRE FRANCESCO

Cari fratelli e sorelle, buon Natale!

Cristo è nato per noi, esultiamo nel giorno della nostra salvezza!
Apriamo i nostri cuori a ricevere la grazia di questo giorno, che è Lui stesso: Gesù è il “giorno” luminoso che è sorto all’orizzonte dell’umanità. Giorno di misericordia, nel quale Dio Padre ha rivelato all’umanità la sua immensa tenerezza. Giorno di luce che disperde le tenebre della paura e dell’angoscia. Giorno di pace, in cui diventa possibile incontrarsi, dialogare, e soprattutto riconciliarsi. Giorno di gioia: una «gioia grande» per i piccoli e gli umili, e per tutto il popolo (cfr Lc 2,10).

In questo giorno, dalla Vergine Maria, è nato Gesù, il Salvatore. Il presepe ci fa vedere il «segno» che Dio ci ha dato: «un bambino avvolto in fasce, adagiato in una mangiatoia» (Lc 2,12). Come i pastori di Betlemme, anche noi andiamo a vedere questo segno, questo avvenimento che ogni anno si rinnova nella Chiesa. Il Natale è un avvenimento che si rinnova in ogni famiglia, in ogni parrocchia, in ogni comunità che accoglie l’amore di Dio incarnato in Gesù Cristo. Come Maria, la Chiesa mostra a tutti il «segno» di Dio: il Bambino che Lei ha portato in grembo e ha dato alla luce, ma che è Figlio dell’Altissimo, perché «viene dallo Spirito Santo» (Mt 1,20). Per questo Lui è il Salvatore, perché è l’Agnello di Dio che prende su di sé il peccato del mondo (cfr Gv 1,29). Insieme ai pastori, prostriamoci davanti all’Agnello, adoriamo la Bontà di Dio fatta carne, e lasciamo che lacrime di pentimento riempiano i nostri occhi e lavino il nostro cuore. Tutti ne abbiamo bisogno!

And as always, he garnishes his concept with a host of inspiring and emotionally appealing highlights. In so doing, the automotive thinker together with consulting firm EY expressly puts one question on the agenda that is bound to occupy us for quite some time: How much human component should, must or may there be in a machine? Everyone involved realizes that answering this question requires merging expectations, tolerances and acceptance. There are countless unsettled issues, for example the morals and ethics of a machine, that need to be resolved. In addition, the means for the technical realization also must be developed. Rinderknecht ventures a prediction: "This process will likely lead to an adaptive, learning and intuitive control software. But it will be a long rocky road."

PRESIDENTE. Ha facoltà di intervenire la Ministra per le riforme costituzionali e i rapporti con il Parlamento, Maria Elena Boschi.

  MARIA ELENA BOSCHI, Ministra per le riforme costituzionali e i rapporti con il Parlamento. Signora Presidente, onorevoli colleghi, non è mia intenzione in questa sede esprimere valutazioni sulla campagna politica in atto contro la mia famiglia e soprattutto contro il Governo: per il rispetto che nutro nei confronti della Presidenza e di tutti i colleghi, mi limiterò ad esporre i fatti.

  I provvedimenti emanati dal nostro Governo hanno in qualche modo, seppure indirettamente, favorito la mia famiglia ? Questa è la domanda: c’è stato del favoritismo, una corsia preferenziale, la legge non è stata applicata in modo uguale per tutti i cittadini ? Questo è il quesito che viene posto. Forse vi stupirò, ma se la risposta fosse sì sarei io la prima a ritenere necessarie le mie dimissioni. Ma restiamo alla verità dei fatti, perché con i «sembrerebbe» e i «pare» che ho sentito questa mattina si va poco lontano (Applausi dei deputati dei gruppi Partito Democratico e Scelta Civica per l'Italia).

  Vorrei dire a tutti coloro che hanno firmato la richiesta di dimissioni, che mi usassero la gentilezza di ascoltare i fatti che porterò in quest'Aula, perché chi ha un approccio alla realtà dei fatti privo di pregiudizi non può che arrendersi di fronte all'evidenza. Ascoltate prima di votare e ascoltate senza pregiudizio. Vorrei innanzitutto che fossero chiari i fatti: mio padre è stato eletto membro del consiglio di amministrazione di Banca Etruria nel maggio del 2014. Ricordo che i soci di Banca Etruria, una banca popolare molto diffusa sul territorio, erano oltre 69.350. È stato poi nominato vicepresidente, uno dei vicepresidenti, non vicario e senza deleghe. Ha accettato quell'incarico convinto di poter dare una mano, di poter dare una mano in un momento in cui la banca era già in difficoltà per le gestioni precedenti e per la crisi economica. Mio padre, come tutti gli altri membri del consiglio di amministrazione, ha perso il proprio incarico, è stato destituito con il commissariamento voluto dal nostro Governo con il decreto n. 45 del 10 febbraio del 2015 firmato dal Ministro Padoan su richiesta di Banca d'Italia. In tutta onestà voglio chiedere a quest'Aula: dov'è il favoritismo nell'aver fatto perdere a mio padre l'incarico, così come tutti gli altri consiglieri di amministrazione hanno perso il proprio incarico (Applausi dei deputati del gruppo Partito Democratico) ? Ma v’è di più. Mio padre, è già stato detto, è stato al pari degli altri membri del consiglio di amministrazione, dei membri del collegio sindacale, del direttore generale, sanzionato da Banca d'Italia e ha pagato una multa di 144.000 euro. Vorrei chiedere, in tutta onestà, dov'è il favoritismo nella sanzione di Banca d'Italia verso mio padre (Applausi dei deputati del gruppo Partito Democratico) ?

  Lasciatemi dire però quello che ho nel cuore. Io amo mio padre e non mi vergogno a dirlo, mio padre è una persona perbene, io sono fiera di lui (Applausi dei deputati dei gruppi Partito Democratico e Area Popolare (NCD-UDC)) e sono fiera di essere la prima nella famiglia Boschi ad essersi laureata e ricordo la gioia e la commozione di mio padre quando è venuto a Firenze ad assistere alla mia laurea. I miei fratelli più piccoli sono laureati uno in economia e uno in ingegneria e noi sappiamo quello che ha fatto mio padre per farci studiare, lui figlio di contadini che per andare a scuola e diplomarsi ogni giorno faceva 5 chilometri a piedi all'andata e 5 chilometri a piedi al ritorno e quaranta minuti di treno. Questa è la storia semplice, umile, ma forte della mia famiglia, non le maldicenze che ho sentito raccontare in questi giorni, le meschinità che sono state scritte (Applausi dei deputati dei gruppi Partito Democratico e Area Popolare (NCD-UDC)). Io so che questo fa parte delle regole del gioco e non mi arrabbio ma spero, se un giorno avrò la fortuna di essere madre, che i miei figli siamo orgogliosi del loro padre quanto io lo sono del mio.

France's National Front Wins Regional Elections - Marine Le Pen

Marine Le Pen France’s far right National Front party has emerged victorious in the first round of voting in France’s regional elections – securing nearly one in three votes and the biggest share in six out of France's 13 regions. The result is a blow to President Francois Hollande of the Socialist party – whose popularity has risen after last month’s terror attacks in Paris.



The first political test for France since the attacks – and the National Front under Marine Le Pen has emerged as the clear winner. She said the result showed the old political world is ‘crumbling’.



She said the National Front was the only truly republican force, because it was the only one to defend the nation and its sovereignty.



Party supporters – like Ludovic in the northern city of Lille - were jubilant. “The French people are fed up and it's time to change things,” he said.



Among opponents, there was widespread shock.



Serena Demassi – from the southern city of Perpignan – said it was a pity that the Paris attacks played such a big role.



Following the attacks, Le Pen has argued that France should not take in any Muslim immigrants. But voter fear wasn't the only explanation for the party’s success, said Professor Matthew Goodwin of policy analysis group Chatham House, who spoke to VOA via Skype.
